Meta-Plot Event #2 OOC Info/Signup Post
As an early side note, this is primarily to get this out there early. The new regain post and the comm updates and revamps are coming soon.
Event #2: I Wonder What The Future Holds For Us?
This is an opt-in event, due to the mechanics of the event itself. Though actually signing up is optional, you cannot assume your character is a part of this event without some sort of signal, be it here or in the log itself. There's no cap on this event, so everyone can go if they wish to!
This is an exploration event. The new set of locations are fully explorable by everyone, though I will be leaving most of the details of how they look up to the players. The theme of the future will be set in stone with the initial post, and then you're free to assume how you wish certain locations to look if you visit them!
ICly, this is a limited-time event. You can always backdate if you wish OOCly! But after a certain point, this event will ICly no longer be available to anyone. The full range of dates will be apparent in the intro log. Future logs made before the final day can be set in the event, if players wish.
Event Info:
At long last, the strange machine has been repaired, with the help of SciTwi, Tails and others! As expected, it is a time machine, and SciTwi has figured out a way to activate it without it going haywire again!
What the machine opens for them, is a portal to Equestria's future. After a small visit there herself, she deems the machine safe for use, and houses it powered on in the lab. Now anyone can visit the future of their land and see what it holds!
She mentions, however, that she can't promise this will be on forever, and that anyone who uses it should NOT be telling anyone they meet that they're from the past, lest they irrevocably change time as they know it!
Knowing all of this, would you wish to see what things look like some hundreds of years into the future?
